A widespread cold front is affecting much of the Southeast region through Wednesday. Please keep a close eye on temps this and plan/pack accordingly!
If you are shipping to or from a place where the weather is outside our recommended shipping parameters, we advise to hold the shipment until it's safe.
If you choose to ship anyway, know that you are doing so at your own risk, as all guarantees will be void.
If you are not already doing so, please write the tracking number on the box and/or include an extra FedEx shipping label inside of the box.
Also, if you are using the FedEx pouches to attach the shipping label to the box, please stop. Put the shipping label directly onto the box and cover it with packing tape for extra security.
We have recently seen an increase in labels falling off/being ripped off while in transit, and while we have been able to recover each one, we'd like to avoid this issue as much as possible, as it has the potential to cause delays.
Thank you!
FedEx is in the process of combining their Express and Ground facilities into one, similar to how UPS runs. FedEx Overnight packages are not affected, but until the transition is complete, some 2 Day packages are being treated as Ground. This means it could take up to 7 days for your package to be delivered. We don't know which locations are operating this way, so please do not use 2 Day (unless it is dry goods), until we are able to get more information/FedEx fully transitions to this new system. We will make that announcement here as soon as we are informed.
